Research and Development Tax Credits: More fun than it sounds

The research and development tax credit is a credit for those creating new things. It has a broader application than most people realize, and may be able to help you.

About our speaker:

Jared A. Greathouse focuses on corporate law, civil litigation, estate planning, probate, and tax. Jared assists businesses and business owners with issues including structure, governance, financing, board management, benefits and employment, the identification and utilization of specialty tax incentives, and acquisitions. He has represented numerous entities in mergers and acquisitions in the form of stock-swaps, asset purchases, leveraged buyouts, and traditional mergers in deal sizes ranging in the tens of millions of dollars. He has assisted companies with capital raises and creative financing options in amounts ranging in the tens of millions.

At the individual level, Jared assists clients with planning and protecting their legacy through estate planning and other probate work. Jared received his Economics degree (and played baseball) at UT Austin, and received his law degree from University of Miami.
